Recently this app is released by Tamilnadu Government. As our TN Government is going to demolish paper based Ration Cards with a new Smart Ration Cards.
Few Months back our State Government asked us to go to ration shops to register Aadhar Card details. People has faced some issues on this process. So the TN Government suggested the following three ways to enter details for smart ration card. Now you cant correct / update details in a ration shop. You have to do it yourself.

On April 1, 2017, Our Chief Minister announced that there will be no paper based card from this year. It will be a Smart Ration Card to buy things from respective ration shops.
Why This Smart Ration Cards?
There are so many duplicate ration cards available which cause problem to distribute necessary products to needy people. So Government decided to go with Smart Ration Card.
What Are The Details in Smart Ration Card?
Every Smart Ration Cards has Details of a particular family respectively Names, Mobile number, Address , Aadhar Card Number.
How To Use This app ?
No worries, this app & website is completely in Tamil. So anyone can access easily.
After you have download this app, you have to go to Login Section.
Enter your mobile no which you have given to ration shop vendor.
You will be received a One Time Password (OTP), in your mobile .
You have to enter that OTP number.
Your family details will be displayed. If there is any mistake you can easily correct yourself..
How to Get Smart Ration Card?
You will get a SMS from Tamilnadu Public Distribution Sector. Then you have to rush to respective ration shop to get a Smart Ration Card.
If you have done any updation on your card, then you have to go to TN e-Seva Center which is nearby your home to get your smart card by submitting essential details as follows:
You must have the Mobile Phone which is registered in Ration Card to get OTP.
Ration Card & its photo copy. You will be Charged some minimum amount for this service.
Do You Know What is BHIM app ?Bhim app allow users to send or receive money to other UPI Payment address or scanning QR code or a/c number with IFSC code MMID ( Mobile Money Identifier) code to users who dont have a UPI ( Unique Payment Interface) based bank account.
